2011 Season - Week 24
A week is a long time in the BUMS
Attached is the favourite chart of the year giving a graphical view of your position in the league table each week. Just two different owners lead the Premiership in 2011, Wayne lead after week 1 but then just stayed up while Chief took the top spot and stayed there for 16 consecutive weeks. Craig put in a great consistent effort running second from week two to the final week. Without franchise players Peyton Manning and Knowshon Moreno Aaron was in the relegation zone from week 2 and David Stamp’s five-man squad were doomed from week 3. The table shows how exciting the battle to escape the final drop spot was with Mark climbing out in week 14, Marcus in week 16 and Wayne in the final week when he outscored Andy H by 6 points and H was relegated just a field goal behind Wayne. There were no such drama in the Conference where Dave G led in week 1, Cheryl from weeks 2 to 12 and Daz from week 13. Dave G and Cheryl were always in the promotion spots, George was never in it and John spent week two in second place when Daz fell to fourth before his climb to the Conference title behind Aaron Rodgers. How high did you fly- how low did you go?
All-Time Leading Points Scorer
After scoring the second highest total in BUMS history (639 points, 31 points behind H’s 2007 total), Chief remains the Official All-Time Leading Points scorer with Johnnie 2nd. On average Chief has scored 539.3pts per season, with Johnnie (529.9) remaining second and Wayne third (515.2). Craig moved past Mark into fourth while Daz’s Conference winning season moved him past Andy H and Marcus to eighth. AP, Ron, Aaron and Paul all moved up one spot each while disappointing seasons for Stampy and George saw them drop a couple of places each. Johnnie remains the all-time leading regular season points scorer with Chief still second. On average Johnnie has 475.5 points per regular season, Craig (469.0) moved up to second, Chief (466.1) stayed third and Wayne (460.4) dropped two spots to fourth. Highest climber was Dave G who overtook Phil, John and Aaron. Chief remains the highest post-season scorer with Mark second and Daz third. See the attached sheet.
